Animal Explorers- Ana Lopez
It's a fact, children love animals! And what better way to learn about them than to explore life on
each of the seven continents! In this class, we will complete a booklet that will be taken home at the
end of the year. We will cover topics including:
● kinds of animals
● animal habitats
● Physical characteristics of animals
● Parts of animals and special adaptations that help them survive
● animal life cycles
● how animals are classified
We will accomplish this by creating crafts, doing worksheets, coloring pages, word searches,
drawing each animal, and having fun!

Ballet 1- Lori Simpson
Whether you’re brand new to ballet or have taken classes for years this class is for
you! In this class, we will focus on developing technique, learning how to glorify
God through dance, and using our skills to perform. Students will participate in
two performances: one for Christmas and one at our Open House.
We hope you join us as we dance, learn, and grow together in faith.

Build and Lab Design- Brynna Gilbert
Creativity and design are so important for kids as they’re growing up and learning. In
this class we would use tons of materials like LEGO, tape, recycled materials, paint,
clay, and cardboard to design things like towers, bridges, vehicles, robots, and their
dream fantasy machines.

CHEARios- Lacy Lamb
CHEARios is a fun, empowering, one-size-fits-all girls scouting program designed
especially for CHEAR. This adventure-based class teaches essential scouting skills in a
supportive, female-centered environment while giving girls the opportunity to earn
badges and fun patches that can support their participation in scouting programs such
as American Heritage Girls, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, or others. Girls do not need to be
registered in any scouting organization to join CHEARios.
Participants will explore arts and creativity, families and heritage, leadership
development, life skills, outdoor education, social-emotional learning, and all things
STEM. Hands-on highlights include learning proper flag etiquette, understanding and
practicing the principles of Leave No Trace, basic first aid and safety skills, sewing
fundamentals, and simple cooking projects. Through teamwork, creativity, and
exploration, CHEARios builds confidence, curiosity, leadership, and practical skills girls
can use for a lifetime.

Community Helpers- Caitlyn Eubanks
Who helps our community run smoothly? This engaging class
introduces young learners to the everyday heroes who make our
world a better place! Each week, we will focus on a different
community helper, from firefighters and doctors to chefs and park
rangers. Through hands-on activities, crafts, and role-playing
students will gain a deeper appreciation for the important jobs people
do. Kids will have the chance to "try out" different careers, play
pretend with costumes and props, and even design their own "dream
job!"

Don't forget to pack a lunch! During our homeschool co-op day, each student should bring a ready-to-eat lunch along with a water bottle/drink. We’ll have time set aside for lunch and socializing, so a nutritious, easy-to-manage meal will help keep everyone happy and focused for the rest of the day!

Elementary Science- Priscilla Sotelo
Welcome to Elementary Science. This is a fun, hands-on science class with full activities,
observations, and notebooking. This Elementary Science class is on a 4-year rotation.

Famous Americans in History- Ana Lopez
In this exciting and interactive class, students will get hands-on with American history, as they create
folded books, layered books, pop-up books, and lift-tab books about 16 famous people of history.
In the process, students will learn how to cut, color, and organize while learning about historical
figures:
Paul Revere, Pocahontas, George Washington, Betsy Ross, and Benjamin Franklin to name a few.
This class will make historical facts come alive with the use of “U.S. History Little Books: Famous
People.”

Fancy Nancy!- Jordan Cervantes
Bonjour, mes amis très élégants! (that’s French for “Hello, my very elegant friends!”)
This year we are returning to the deuxième année (that’s french for second year) for this enchanting class, harolding the return of a trés chic collection of books and activities. Students will refine their vocabulaire and social skills with delightful weekly readings of Fancy Nancy, Pinkalicious, Angelina Ballerina, and Ella Bella Ballerina. Chaque semaine (French for each week), a different book will transport them into whimsical worlds, accompanied by amusantes activities inspired by the stories.
The pièce de résistance will be a personalized "fancy words" journal, where students will add nouvelles listes de mots chaque semaine (that’s very fancy and french way of saying we will ad new words to our journals) to elevate their vocabulary. The class will also indulge in Fancy Nancy games and charming crafts such as cards, bookmarks, tiaras, personal decorations, bracelets, and more.
To crown this magnifique experience, we will host deux delightful tea parties, offering an opportunity to practice their mots élégants and perfect their bonnes manières. It is an educational and unforgettable adventure—absolument formidable!

Fun With Bugs- Ana Lopez
In this class we will discuss the differences between insects, spiders, and crustaceans. We will
learn the life cycles, habits, behaviors, benefits, and defense mechanisms for the different
members of each class of animal. Crafts will be done in class to be taken home, along with a
notebook containing fun facts about these amazing animals. In addition to these, we will also
watch short videos and read books full of information on these creatures. After taking this
course your child will become more familiar with the anatomy of these animals along with
gaining a love for the small creatures that God created.

Game On! - Jordan Cervantes
Come and explore the world of traditional board and card games. These “old school” games are the entertainment of days long gone, before tvs, ipads, and smart phones. They are excellent tools for teaching a wide variety of skills, both practical and social and foster creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork in a fun and engaging way.
During each class we will be learning an average of one new game (or two) and the skills that go into playing that game. Every 6 weeks we will have a “My favorite Game” day where, the week prior, students vote on their favorite games and then on that 6th week, we spend the entire class playing those games. Some of the board games we will be learning are Checkers, Candyland, Sorry, and Catan Jr. A few card games include solitaire, gin rummy, go fish, crazy eights, and more.

Junior Scholars- Delia Rodela
Junior Scholars is an engaging, developmentally appropriate enrichment class designed
for kindergarten and first-grade students. This class supports early learners as they
build strong foundations in reading, writing, math, art, and science through hands on,
creative, and interactive experiences.
There are two class periods, and while each period stands on its own, both are
thoughtfully designed to complement and reinforce one another, allowing students to
deepen skills through repetition, creativity, and exploration.
Literacy & Language Development
In Junior Scholars, students develop early reading skills and comprehension using
high-quality, age appropriate literature.
Lessons focus on:
• Letter recognition and phonics
• Vocabulary development
• Listening and comprehension skills
• Story sequencing and retelling
Most books used in class are paired with hands on activities or worksheets that
extend learning beyond reading. These may include drawing responses, matching
activities, sequencing, or simple writing prompts that reinforce comprehension in a fun
and accessible way.
Writing & Fine Motor Skills
Students work on penmanship and early writing skills through structured practice
and creative expression. Activities include:
• Letter formation and spacing
• Tracing, copying, and beginning independent writing
• Strengthening fine motor skills through cutting, pasting, coloring, and crafting
We use manipulatives and tactile materials to support eye-hand coordination and
build confidence in writing readiness.
Mathematics
Math instruction is designed to be playful, visual, and hands-on. Students learn to:
• Count and identify numbers
• Recognize numbers in multiple ways (numerals, objects, drawings, and
manipulatives)
• Practice basic number sense and patterns
Manipulatives such as counters, blocks, and interactive games help students

Science Exploration
Due to scheduling, Junior Scholars focuses on one science concept or activity per
month. Each science unit includes:

Art & Creativity
Art is a core part of Junior Scholars. Students create frequent art projects using a

Kaleidoscope Art- Mary Reel
It’s time to get excited about our art journey together!
In Kaleidoscope Art, young students will start exploring art with new techniques, interesting media and unique projects. They will use a wide variety of supplies, such as clay, oil pastels, tempera paint, liquid watercolor, chalk pastels and more to create mixed media projects.
Your students will also learn techniques like collage, sculpture, tempera and watercolor painting, and color theory through fun experimentation and demonstrated instructions for step-by-step projects that will ignite their artistic energy while creating beautiful art.
Throughout the year we will also learn and use the elements of art and principles of design. Then, using art elements and principles, together with different techniques and media, we’ll make beautiful art.

Math for Minecrafters- Kassidy Rudeseal
Math for Minecrafters Welcome to Math for Minecrafters, an exciting math class designed for elementary-age students, with an engaging Minecraft theme! In this class, students will have the opportunity to explore mathematical concepts through the lens of the popular game Minecraft. In Math for Minecrafters, students will learn and practice essential math skills while incorporating the fun themes found in Minecraft. Mini Gymnastics- Makayla Garland
Students will engage in physical activity consisting of warm up,
stretching, stations, and games to develop knowledge in basic
gymnastics skills. They will be guided through body movements and
positions to ensure optimal safety. We will utilize mats, noodles, dots,
and other items to help identify correct body parts and technique. This
class will not only teach fundamentals of gymnastics and many other
sports but also promote a class environment of respect and
understanding of their own and others bodies (in terms of safety and
awareness) All levels and abilities in this age range are accepted.
Students will be given corrections and harder tasks based on ability
and growth throughout the year. Individualized tasks will sometimes
be assigned for those excelling or needing more assistance. (this is
expected and not a hindrance)

Music Makers- Dana Opper
**REHEARSALS AND SHOW ATTENDANCE ARE MANDATORY***
Welcome to Music Makers! This course is designed for children in K-3rd grade who love music and want to explore the world of dance, rhythm, and choreography. Through engaging activities and games, we will help your child develop valuable skills while having fun.
In Music Makers, your child will learn basic dance steps and movements in group choreography. They will also learn about rhythm and musical timing. The music they practice all year will be displayed at the big show at the end of the year with the Show Kids class.
Throughout the course, your child will have the opportunity to participate in two required performances at the end of the school year. We also offer optional chances to perform in a Christmas show and participate in shows with older age groups.
By the end of the course, your child will have gained confidence in their abilities and developed a love for music and dance. We can't wait to see your child's creativity shine on stage!
In order to ensure a successful final production, extra rehearsals will be mandatory for all students in Music Makers.

In my Nature Studies class I emphasize literature-rich, hands-on learning and am passionate
about getting children excited about books and exploring outside. It is my desire to point students
towards a deeper understanding of their Creator as they study His creation.
IEW Narnia: The Lion’s Song (Middle School)
This class will earn ONE English credit.
*Prerequisite: One year of a grammar curriculum highly
recommended
Using the first three novels of the Chronicles of Narnia (The Magician’s Nephew, The Lion, the
Witch and the Wardrobe, and The Horse and His Boy), your student will experience the
enchanted land of Narnia while learning to write with structure and style. In this course by the
acclaimed Institute for Excellence in Writing, students will focus on basic word usage, sentence
variety, writing structure, and paragraph formats. All of the IEW structural models will be taught
and practiced. Students will have lots of opportunities to hone their style through varied
assignments and the development of strong revision skills.

Our Amazing Body- Christine Simpson
From teeth, to eyes, to ears, to skin and bones there’s a lot to discover about the
human body! We will learn all about our amazing body that God designed, discovering how each

to increase their knowledge of their body!

This class will provide mostly unstructured play and a chance to make friends and have fun and be kids. My job as facilitator will be providing some base activity stations, fostering connection and controlling chaos. No electronics.

Watercolor for Littles- Brynna Gilbert
At this age children usually have full confidence in themselves as artists and are ready
for anything! In this class we will harness and focus that confidence by giving our artists
the techniques and tools to take their paintings to the next level. We will explore the
basics of watercolor in a fun and hands-on way, working on each project with teacher
demonstration along each step of the way.

Younger Elementary PE- Lori Jolly
Get ready to move! In this class, we will practice different sports, play active games and learn basic warm
ups and cool downs for a healthy exercise routine. We will talk about what the Bible says about keeping
your body healthy and fit and your students will be challenged with memorizing a verse weekly.
Lots of team activities will be played! Please have your student wear athletic shoes as they may not be
able to participate in certain games if they do not. A water bottle is required.
